Micromount très esthétique présentant deux cristaux de zircon rose violine, parfaitement individualisés, reposant sur une gangue blanche finement cristallisée, provenant du gisement classique de Schellgaden, Salzbourg, Autriche.
Les zircons se présentent en cristaux prismatiques bien formés, avec terminaisons nettes et arêtes vives. Leur teinte rose à violine, délicate mais bien saturée, est mise en valeur par un éclat vitreux brillant et une bonne transparence à translucidité. Les deux cristaux sont bien dégagés de la matrice, offrant une excellente lisibilité morphologique et un bel équilibre visuel.
La gangue blanche, probablement feldspathique à quartzique, constitue un fond neutre idéal qui renforce le contraste chromatique et met en valeur la couleur rare et recherchée des zircons.
 
Very attractive micromount featuring two well-isolated pink to violet zircon crystals on a fine-grained white matrix, from the classic Schellgaden locality, Salzburg, Austria.
The zircons occur as well-formed prismatic crystals with sharp terminations and crisp edges. Their pink to violet coloration is delicate yet clearly saturated, enhanced by a bright vitreous luster and good transparency to translucency. Both crystals are nicely exposed on the matrix, providing excellent morphological clarity and a pleasing visual balance.
The white, feldspathic to quartz-rich matrix offers a clean neutral background, strongly enhancing the color contrast and showcasing the rare and desirable hue of the zircons.
