Belle wulfenite de Lantignié, provenant des mines de Monterniers, dans le Rhône, présentant un remarquable cristal tabulaire jaune orangé, très bien individualisé sur une matrice de quartz.
Le cristal principal est caractérisé par une forme tabulaire épaisse, avec une large face dominante et des bordures nettement facettées. Sa géométrie est particulièrement bien lisible, avec des faces périphériques légèrement inclinées venant compléter la grande face basale. La transparence à translucidité du cristal permet d'observer une belle profondeur interne ainsi que différentes zones de croissance.
 
Fine wulfenite from Lantignié, from the Monterniers Mines, Rhône, France, featuring a remarkable thick tabular yellow-orange crystal well developed on a quartz-rich matrix.
The principal crystal displays a strong tabular habit, with a broad dominant face surrounded by sharply defined, slightly inclined peripheral faces. Its transparency to translucency allows considerable internal depth to be appreciated, together with visible growth zoning.
