Cristaux prismatiques de pyromorphite d’un vert pomme à vert jaunâtre très vif, tapissant une matrice siliceuse et limonitique riche en oxydes de fer. Les cristaux, bien individualisés malgré leur taille micrométrique, présentent des terminaisons hexagonales nettes, un fort éclat adamantin à résineux et une transparence localement élevée, conférant à l’ensemble un aspect scintillant remarquable.
 
bright apple-green to yellow-green pyromorphite composed of densely packed hexagonal microprismatic crystals on a siliceous and iron-oxide rich matrix. The crystals show sharp hexagonal terminations, a strong adamantine to resinous lustre and locally high transparency, producing an intense sparkling effect under magnification.
