Remarquable micro-association uranifère provenant de White Canyon, Utah (États-Unis), dominée par de vifs cristaux orangés de pascoïte dispersés dans une matrice sombre altérée, riche en oxydes et phases silicatées. L'échantillon contient également des agrégats jaunes de zippéite associés à la minéralisation uranifère secondaire, bien qu'ils ne soient pas visibles sur cette photographie.
La pascoïte se présente sous forme d'agrégats microcristallins d'un orange mandarine à rouge-orangé éclatant, occupant les cavités et les fractures de la matrice. Certaines zones montrent des amas pulvérulents à microbotryoïdaux, tandis que d'autres révèlent des cristaux plus individualisés à l'éclat vitreux à résineux. Cette coloration exceptionnellement intense est caractéristique des vanadates hydratés d'uranium formés dans des conditions fortement oxydantes et en milieu aride.
 
Remarkable uranium-bearing micro-association from White Canyon, Utah (USA), dominated by vivid orange pascoite crystals dispersed throughout a dark altered matrix rich in oxides and silicate phases. The specimen also contains yellow zippeite aggregates associated with the secondary uranium mineralization, although they are not visible in this particular image.
The pascoite occurs as bright mandarin-orange to reddish-orange microcrystalline aggregates occupying cavities and fractures within the matrix. Some areas display powdery to microbotryoidal masses, whereas others reveal more individualized crystals with vitreous to resinous luster. The extremely intense coloration is characteristic of hydrated uranium vanadates formed under strongly oxidizing and arid environmental conditions.
