Micromount de choix présentant une veinule irrégulière d’or natif, d’un jaune métallique intense, enchâssée dans une matrice de quartz blanc à translucide avec altérations ferrugineuses. L’or montre une morphologie typique en filonnets et masses anastomosées, avec surfaces légèrement martelées à éclat métallique vif. Excellent contraste avec la gangue claire, rendant l’échantillon très lisible sous loupe. Provenance classique d’un district aurifère historique.
 
Attractive micromount featuring an irregular vein of native gold with bright metallic yellow color, embedded in a white to translucent quartz matrix with ferruginous alteration. The gold displays a typical habit of veinlets and anastomosing masses with slightly hammered surfaces and strong metallic luster. Excellent contrast with the light matrix makes the specimen highly visible under magnification. From a classic historic gold district.
