Spécimen micromount présentant un cristal hexagonal bien formé d’iodargyrite logé dans une petite cavité de la matrice.
Le cristal montre une forme tabulaire hexagonale caractéristique, avec des faces bien définies et légèrement translucides. Sa couleur jaune pâle à jaunâtre, associée à un éclat résineux à adamantin, est typique de ce rare halogénure d’argent.
L’iodargyrite est implantée dans une petite géode tapissée de microcristaux blanchâtres, créant un contraste discret qui met en valeur la morphologie hexagonale du cristal.
 
Micromount specimen featuring a well-formed hexagonal crystal of iodargyrite nestled in a small cavity of the matrix.
The crystal displays a characteristic hexagonal tabular habit, with well-defined and slightly translucent faces. Its pale yellow to yellowish color, combined with a resinous to adamantine luster, is typical of this rare silver halide mineral.
The iodargyrite occurs in a small vug lined with tiny whitish crystals, providing a subtle contrast that highlights the hexagonal morphology of the crystal.
