Spécimen attribué à de l’hydromagnésite de Laurion, Grèce, présentant un très joli contraste entre une matrice sombre et une multitude de petits cristaux blancs disposés en rosettes et en agrégats disséminés sur toute la surface.
La pièce séduit par son aspect très graphique : les cristaux blancs, délicats et lumineux, ressortent parfaitement sur le fond noir et forment un tapis de petites formations bien esthétiques. L’ensemble offre une belle présence visuelle, avec une cristallisation fine et abondante typique des minéraux secondaires de Laurion.
Identification visuelle proposée comme hydromagnésite, non analysée (par ancien propriétaire), et donc à considérer avec prudence. Cela n’enlève rien à l’intérêt esthétique du spécimen.

The piece is especially appealing for its graphic look: the delicate bright white crystals stand out beautifully against the black background, forming a fine and abundant crystalline cover. The overall appearance is elegant and highly aesthetic, typical of the refined secondary mineral assemblages from Laurion.
Visual identification only, proposed as hydromagnesite and not analytically confirmed, so it should be regarded with appropriate caution. This does not diminish the visual charm of the specimen
