Très belle hémimorphite incolore à blanche, transparente à translucide, formant ici un spectaculaire agrégat de cristaux prismatiques à faces striées, disposés en bouquet rayonnant. Les cristaux présentent un éclat vitreux à nacré et montrent nettement les caractéristiques morphologiques de l’espèce, avec des terminaisons bien développées.
La pièce est particulièrement esthétique par le contraste entre les cristaux clairs d’hémimorphite et la matrice sombre riche en minéraux métallifères.
 
Excellent colourless to white hemimorphite, transparent to translucent, forming a spectacular aggregate of prismatic, striated crystals arranged in a radiating cluster. The crystals display a vitreous to pearly lustre and well-developed terminations characteristic of the species. The specimen is particularly attractive for the contrast between the clear hemimorphite crystals and the dark, metal-rich matrix. A fine micromount from the Le Rivet Quarry at Peyrebrune, a classic Tarn locality for zinc-bearing mineralization.
