Sur cette matrice viennent se développer des cristaux de goethite bien individualisés, à l’éclat métallique brillant, formant des agrégats prismatiques et hérissés.
 
This specimen is a particularly expressive example of goethite on red goethite, a classic and sought-after association from Montroc.
The base consists of intense red botryoidal formations, with a velvety texture and strong, warm coloration.
On top of this matrix, well-defined goethite crystals have developed, displaying a bright metallic luster and forming prismatic, spiky aggregates.
