Superbe microcristallisation d’azurite du Moulinal, présentant plusieurs cristaux d’un bleu électrique à bleu outremer extrêmement intense, se détachant sur une matrice sombre constituée d’oxydes de fer.
L’élément le plus remarquable est le grand cristal tabulaire d’azurite, particulièrement net et fortement coloré, accompagné d’un second individu plus petit mais présentant lui aussi des faces parfaitement lisses et un éclat vitreux remarquable. La saturation du bleu est exceptionnelle sur ce champ de vue et contraste superbement avec les agrégats botryoïdaux noirs à brun-noir de la matrice.
 
Superb microcrystallization of azurite from the Le Moulinal mine, displaying several crystals with an exceptionally intense electric-blue to deep ultramarine colour, standing out dramatically against a dark matrix rich in iron oxides.
The most striking feature is the large tabular azurite crystal, with particularly sharp outlines, intense colour and remarkably smooth, lustrous faces. It is accompanied by a smaller individual showing equally well-developed faces and a strong vitreous lustre. The exceptional saturation of the blue colour creates a spectacular contrast with the black to brownish-black botryoidal aggregates of the matrix.
