Très belle cristallisation d’azurite provenant de Kamariza, district minier de Laurion, Attique, Grèce, présentant une association particulièrement riche et esthétique de cristaux bleu profond sur matrice ferrugineuse.
L’azurite forme ici une dense couverture de cristaux bien individualisés, dominée par des individus tabulaires à prismatiques, parfois fortement aplatis, avec des faces cristallines nettes et fortement réfléchissantes. Plusieurs cristaux montrent des terminaisons bien définies et des arêtes particulièrement franches, tandis que d’autres se regroupent en agrégats serrés occupant les cavités de la matrice.
 
Very attractive azurite crystallization from Kamariza, Laurion Mining District, Attica, Greece, displaying a particularly rich and aesthetic assemblage of deep-blue crystals on a ferruginous matrix.
The azurite forms a dense coating of well-individualized crystals, dominated by tabular to prismatic individuals, locally strongly flattened, with sharp crystal faces and highly reflective surfaces. Several crystals display well-defined terminations and crisp edges, while others form compact aggregates occupying cavities within the matrix.
