Superbe anatase noire à gris acier, présentant plusieurs cristaux bien individualisés aux faces nettes. Les cristaux, à l'éclat métallique à adamantin, montrent des formes cristallines particulièrement bien développées, avec des surfaces finement striées visibles sous fort grossissement.
Le contraste entre les cristaux sombres et la matrice brunâtre richement texturée met remarquablement en valeur leur morphologie. Une micro-pièce particulièrement esthétique provenant de Petit-Cœur, La Léchère, Savoie, une localité alpine bien connue pour ses minéralisations en TiO₂
 
Excellent black to steel-grey anatase, displaying several well-individualized crystals with sharp faces. The crystals show well-developed crystal forms, with finely striated surfaces that become particularly apparent under magnification.
