Très belle mimétite de la célèbre mine Ojuela, à Mapimí, présentant de remarquables cristaux prismatiques à terminaisons pointues, regroupés en touffes et en agrégats denses. Leur couleur jaune miel à jaune verdâtre, translucide à transparente, est particulièrement lumineuse et met superbement en valeur la finesse des cristaux.
La vue rapprochée révèle des cristaux allongés, aux faces bien définies et marqués par de fines stries de croissance, certains atteignant une longueur particulièrement intéressante pour ce type de microcristallisation. L'ensemble forme une couverture cristalline très esthétique sur la matrice ferrugineuse brun-rouille, avec de nombreux petits cristaux scintillants qui accentuent encore le relief.
La seconde vue permet d'apprécier l'aspect général de la pièce : une association très riche en mimétite, avec une véritable « forêt » de petits cristaux jaunes recouvrant la matrice
 
Beautiful mimetite from the famous Ojuela Mine, Mapimí, displaying remarkable prismatic crystals with pointed terminations, gathered into dense tufts and clusters. Their honey-yellow to yellowish-green colour, ranging from translucent to transparent, is particularly luminous and beautifully highlights the delicacy of the crystallization.
The close-up view reveals elongated crystals with well-defined faces and fine growth striations, with some crystals reaching a particularly interesting length for this type of microcrystallization. The whole forms a highly aesthetic crystalline covering over the rusty, iron-rich matrix, with numerous tiny sparkling crystals further enhancing the relief and texture.
The second view gives a broader impression of the specimen, showing a remarkably rich mimetite coating, forming almost a “forest” of tiny yellow crystals across the matrix
