This specimen from Bird Nest, Arizona, USA, features beautiful groups of wulfenite with well-developed tabular crystals displaying an attractive honey-yellow to orange-yellow color and excellent transparency.
The crystals exhibit bright lustrous faces and sharp edges, forming several small clusters on a light-colored matrix that provides an elegant contrast and highlights their characteristic geometry. Their open arrangement allows each crystal to be appreciated individually while creating a balanced and aesthetic composition.
The specimen is also containing some thorneite, an extremely rare mineral species known from this famous locality.
