Micromount rare de thorikosite provenant du secteur minéralogique classique de Legrena (district de Lavrion, Attique), célèbre pour sa grande diversité d’espèces secondaires. L’échantillon présente un cristal allongé en lame, de teinte jaune pâle à crème, montrant une belle translucidité et un éclat soyeux à légèrement nacré.
La cristallisation est bien individualisée, posée sur une matrice sombre qui renforce fortement le contraste et met en valeur la finesse du minéral. Une pièce très représentative de Lavrion, recherchée en micromount pour la rareté de l’espèce et l’esthétique épurée du cristal.
 
Rare thorikosite micromount from Legrena, within the famous Lavrion mining district (Attica, Greece), renowned for its exceptional diversity of secondary minerals. The specimen features a well-isolated, bladed crystal with a delicate pale yellow to creamy hue, showing good translucency and a silky to slightly pearly luster.
The crystal is nicely exposed on a dark matrix, creating a strong contrast that highlights the refined habit and clean aesthetics of the piece. A highly collectible Lavrion micromount, appreciated both for the rarity of thorikosite and the elegant, minimalist presentation.
