Très belle cristallisation de planchéite provenant de la mine de La Farola, Cerro Pintado, district de Las Pintadas, Tierra Amarilla, Atacama, Chili, présentant un développement particulièrement spectaculaire d’agrégats fibroradiés bleu turquoise.
La planchéite se développe ici en faisceaux aciculaires et agrégats radiés, constitués de très nombreux cristaux fins, allongés et translucides. Les individus s’organisent en rosettes et gerbes divergentes, avec des cristaux suffisamment dégagés pour permettre une excellente observation de leur habitus sous fort grossissement.
 
Very attractive plancheite crystallization from the La Farola Mine, Cerro Pintado, Las Pintadas district, Tierra Amarilla, Atacama, Chile, displaying an exceptionally rich development of turquoise-blue radiating aggregates.
The plancheite occurs as abundant acicular sprays and radiating aggregates, composed of numerous fine, elongated and translucent crystals. The individuals are arranged into rosettes and divergent sprays, some reaching several hundred microns, with sufficiently exposed crystals allowing their characteristic habit to be studied in detail under high magnification.
